The Transworld Investment Group PLC (Transworld) is a Cayman Islands holding company that was formed to takeover two companies that are concentrated in the Life Settlement space. This group is in a unique position to capitalize on the immaturity and inefficiencies of the market and to draw on the vast experience of the management team to maximize wealth for its shareholders and create outstanding returns by providing a steady stream of policies at a competitive price.

Transworld and Life Settlements - a review of the report produced by Professor Merlin Stone in October 2007, shows that in 1990 around $50m worth of policies were traded, according to Bernstein Research. In 2006 it was estimated by Credit Suisse that the market had grown to $20bn. The potential capacity of the Life Settlement market is even greater with Credit Suisse estimating that $23trln worth of death benefit existed in the US in 2006, making it the largest life insurance market in the world.

Transworld includes:

- Life Policy Group plc (LPG) is a Cayman Island company that wholesales and retails policies that it buys through its US providers. In general it sells these policies to investment funds, hedge funds and other institutional buyers. It has taken over the trading of IndemnityFirst Limited.

And

- Life Settlement Leads (LSL), a Delaware Corporation that operates as a lead generator that seeks out life policy sellers and introduces those sellers to provider organizations.  In addition LSL provides back office services for provider organizations including analysis of policies to ensure policies meet provider portfolio profiles. LSL works with sellers of policies to ensure that all the necessary data is collected for a smooth transaction. The company is located in Parsippany, NJ.

In addition Transworld holds an exclusive license to buy policies through Life Policy Traders, Inc.
